Located in Turpan, Xinjiang, this is a key national “14th Five-Year Plan” energy development project and a landmark grid-connected new energy project in Xinjiang. The total installed capacity is 1GW, comprising 100MW molten-salt tower CSP and 900MW PV, equipped with 12-hour molten-salt thermal storage system, enabling 24/7 stable power supply. Upon full-capacity grid connection, the project is expected to generate approximately 2 billion kWh annually, saving 450,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by about 1.98 million tons per year.
